REVERB Not

Sure, reverb sounds great through headphones and home speakers, and in the concert hall when the Wavestation is the only instrument people are hearing. But it muddies-up the mix (and the whole sound) when used in conjunction with other instruments sounding at the same time. A little goes a long way in those situations, even for creating a "distancing" effect (lowering the volume of the "distant" object works better, as there is a "close" object to compare to for relativity in this case.)

The reverbs in the Wavestation are great, but there are better uses for the two FX lines available to you...the parametric EQ being *VERY* useful in a mix situation (less is more approach--make room for the other sounds to fit inside of here). Especially for concert-hall performances, the delay-effects are probably going to be more effective for you if a "reverb-y/echo-y" effect is still what you desire from the Wavestation. Most rooms have plenty of reverb already! :-)
